  • Founded in 2002, Basilea is a genuinely Swiss restaurant, specializing in fondues and raclettes made form cheeses that are 100% Swiss. The restaurant offers a cosy, warm, brick walled environment and offers the perfect ambience for couples or small groups. There is no doubt that the principal protagonists of Swiss cuisine are fondues and raclettes, whose principal ingredient is cheese. Even though they are very popular dishes there are few opportunities to enjoy these dishes in in Barcelona and even less in a ambiance that reminds us of this alpine country.
  • For over a decade, nestled between Horta-Guinardó and the Eixample-Dret districts of Barcelona, Basilea has been offering an authentically Swiss cuisine with 16 varieties of cheese fondues and raclettes, based on large variety of cheeses from Switzerland. The culinary offering is completed with meat fondues that can be enjoyed with delicious homemade sauces. For desert, of course, there is a Swiss chocolate fondue.

    Small and cosy, the brick walled restaurant, lined with images that transport you to the Swiss city that the restaurant is named after and create an agreeable and intimate at atmosphere.
